Watching Adric trying to explain to Jo how the astronaut behind them doesn't actually have a big hand and isn't actually red is both adorable and infuriating 😆

She never understood the whole ‘Hiding Behind the Sofa when watching Doctor Who’, so posed for a photo as per the instruction, but is suitably not impressed for anyone that actually does this for real when watching the show!
“How can you watch TV from behind the sofa?”

Happy 54th anniversary of the 3rd #DoctorWho's first episode (3rd Jan 1970). I was 11 and probably paid more attention to this one than the previous two as he was less #BehindTheSofa material for me.
Dunno why the left hand door of the TARDIS is open tho.

I’ve got the season 7 editions of #BehindTheSofa on run the background.
It pairs the #LovelyJo with #Adric.
Which will possibly get @gruntleigh.bsky.social a LITTLE #overexcited … !

Some months ago I'd decided to rewatch all* of #DoctorWho since, well, Paul McGann. I'm now watching The Vanquishers which brings me bang up to date.
I don't remember all that much from** the very start of it but I'm impressed it's still happening 60 years later.
*Torchwood, less so.
