Flirty The Service Mini Horse

@flirtythesh.bsky.social

Some horse people just LOVE giving unsolicited advice. It drives me nuts.

For the record, Flirty’s body condition is pretty darn near perfect and her vet approves of her feed regimen.

A pair of FB comments. Christie Behot: That’s an awful lot of food for a mini you’d be better off feeding her triple crown balancer vs triple crown lite. Abrea: Funny, I don’t recall asking for advice on her food.

The Archives are taking a quiet pause tonight, so there won't be a Stray stream.

I'm taking the evening to rest. Midtown can wait for another night. 🐾

I'm taking a little more time to recover from the flu. Workshop 12 and this week's Storytime will be postponed, with the current plan to return on Wednesday, July 22.

No streams March 25 to April 1 — I’ll be at PAX East.

Storytime from Steps Into the Past and other Archives content will resume after the Archivist returns from field research.
Next stream:

✒️Workshop — April 5

Thank you for keeping watch while the Archivist travels.

Inside a quiet corner of the Galactic Archives.

A wooden archivist's desk sits beneath soft lamplight. The room feels like a small private archive or reading chamber inside a Jedi or historical repository.

On the desk:
• A Star Wars–style datapad, closed and powered down
• A leather-bound journal with a ribbon bookmark partially visible
• A ceramic mug of behot, steam rising slowly
• A small stack of archived datapads or scroll cases

Through a nearby arched window, distant city lights glow faintly — suggesting travel or a larger galactic gathering beyond the archive walls.

Nothing is abandoned. Everything is simply resting.

Lighting:
Warm desk lamp light against darker surroundings.
Soft shadows. Calm atmosphere.

Mood:
Intentional pause.
The archive is safe.
The Archivist has stepped away briefly.

A quiet update from the Galactic Archives: I’m still here, just not back to streaming yet. Still working through hardware fixes. No return date yet, but I wanted to check in and say hello. Thanks for your patience.

A quiet worktable in a softly lit room. A Star Wars–style datapad, with its casing gently removed as though it’s being repaired or adjusted. Small tools are neatly arranged nearby — nothing chaotic or broken, just careful work in progress.

A ceramic mug of behot sits beside the datapad, steam rising slowly. A folded cloth rests near the tools, suggesting patience and care. Through a nearby window, soft daylight filters through forest branches.

Warm desk lamp glow mixed with natural ambient light. Soft shadows, no harsh highlights.

Atmosphere:
Quiet progress. Presence without urgency.
The work continues behind the scenes.

A quick update: I’m still paused from streaming while I wait on parts and work through some hardware fixes. No return date yet, but I’ll share an update when I have one. Thank you for your patience.

A quiet worktable in a softly lit interior. At the center sits a Star Wars–style datapad partially open, its casing removed slightly, small tool kit nearby. A stylus and a compact multi-tool rest beside it. A ceramic mug of behot sits close by, steam rising gently.

Outside a nearby window, the world is muted—mist or soft daylight through branches. No urgency, no clutter—just careful attention.

Warm lamplight focused on the workspace, with soft ambient light from the window.

An update from the Galactic Archives: I’ll be taking a pause from streaming while I sort through some technical issues and make sure everything is steady before returning. I’ll share an update when I’m ready.

A still, softly lit interior space associated with the Galactic Archives. A simple wooden table sits near a window. Outside, a forest is barely visible through early morning mist or light snowfall—muted, calm, and distant.

On the table:
A closed Star Wars–style datapad, screen dark, powered down
A ceramic mug of behot, steam rising gently but slowly
No clutter, no motion, nothing mid-task
The datapad is not abandoned—just resting.
Lighting:
Warm, indirect lamplight or hearthlight from off-frame.
Soft shadows. Low contrast. No dramatic highlights.
Atmosphere:
Intentional pause.
Care taken to protect what’s being built.
The sense of waiting without tension.

Recovery on Tanagis, quiet watchfulness, and the mountain holding its breath.

A warm interior room on Tanagis at night. Snow drifts softly past a wide window set into stone, evergreen branches barely visible through mist and darkness. Inside, a low fire or glow-lamp casts steady amber light. At the center foreground sits a small wooden table. On it: A steaming mug of behot, ceramic and unadorned, steam rising gently. A folded blanket, thick and well-used, resting beside the mug. A deactivated lightsaber with three distinct rings around the hilt. A pair of plain dark-blue Cataani Marine tags, no engraving, set neatly near the mug.

Warm hearthlight balanced against cool blue-gray snowlight from the window.

Quiet recovery. Protected stillness. The sense of being held in place while the world waits.

This Wednesday’s stream will be Storytime, replacing the usual SWTOR slot.

I’ll be reading Steps into the Past, Chapters 14–15 — continuing Marin’s journey as recovery deepens and the quiet begins to shift.

A slower night. A story held gently.
I hope you’ll join me.

A quiet interior space with a carved wooden table near a window. A single steaming mug of behot rests at the center, ceramic and unadorned, steam curling softly upward. A set of dark-blue oval Cataani Marine tags is placed next to it. A closed aging book rests on the table. A deep chair rests near a fireplace with a blanket draped over it. Outside the window, snow drifts gently through tall evergreens, the forest hushed and still.

📖 The Galactic Archives are live!
Tonight, we continue Steps Into the Past, Chapters 12–13.
Marin is home on Tanagis, recovering in the quiet aftermath of Collier—where healing is slow, watchfulness is constant, and stillness carries weight.

www.twitch.tv/meshlamorut 🕖7 PM EST.

A quiet interior on Tanagis. A low-lit hearthroom with warm amber firelight spilling across stone and wood. A thick blanket is folded over the arm of a chair near the fire. On a carved wooden desk sits a simple ceramic mug of behot, steam rising gently. A Star Wars–style datapad rests nearby, active but dim, its interface unreadable. An open journal lies beside it, pages blank. Dark blue Cataani Marine tags rest beside a stylus.

A window nearby looks out over dense forest—pine branches and mist visible beyond the glass, evening light filtering softly through.

Restful. Protective. Quiet recovery.
The feeling of being watched over, not watched.

Warm hearthlight from off-frame, golden and steady.
Cool forest light through the window for contrast.

📖 Storytime Update | Galactic Archives

Tonight’s Storytime stream will be postponed to Sunday, 12/7 so we can give it the time and care it deserves.

Same chapter. Same quiet space. Just a little later than planned.
Thank you for your patience, and I’ll see you Sunday. 🤍
