There is also something offputting about them wanting to create a world to call home...but only for the races that were in vanilla, and of course, their special blue elves.
If you've called Azeroth home through the lens of a belf, draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Zandalari...there is no home for you.

I don't know how to explain it but there is something that remains off putting about WoW Forever for me.
There's something off putting about them constantly saying "We want this to be your home. We want this to be a world that grows with you."

Yep! I can totally see him still being a ranger at heart, but also becoming a druid too. More than one class type thing. Becoming something like a hybrid druid hunter!. Which would make him uniquely stand out. And belf druids would have an interesting approach towards nature than night elves.

a guy from my old 10 year old belf guild reached out saying most of the old Emerald Dream players are returning to rp-pvp. every single one of the people I knew then (besides 2. ONLY 2!) were either total assholes, insane liars (esp recently!) or have not cared about keeping up with me and stay on X

Straight up I think they did it to make it more neutral for non-belf players but now it’s just like. Unusable for Belf Players (green ones that is)

Honestly I like that they're using the Vanilla outfit on a TBC BElf/Darkfallen model for Sylvanas but I also think they cooked with that transmog even if they put in on what was obviously a Night Elf back then lol

a friend pointed it, but having a belf have their magic/study etc backfire to him, lose control and having to be beaten up to his sense sucks when u keep showing velves with barely any struggle which i WANT to see- but I feel that should have happened long already- but they did not care about them-
