Busy day. Doctors at 09:15, barbers at 11:00 (finger means swim cancelled). Need to deal with some work then sort out the flat. Off to the airport and Benissanet, via Barcelona, for 4 weeks. I hope this madam will be waiting for us.

Just booked a 5 day trip in mid- November to come out to Benissanet with the furry one. I’ll need to move a couple of heaters into the house when we’re closing up things tomorrow night.

We’ve both been on a bit of a weight loss ‘journey’ this past year. September trips to Benissanet are always a worry about what’s going to fit. Thankfully my L shorts are comfy and Mackenzie can get into most of my XL (he’s lost 9 kg over this past year).

One of the little things I like about being in Benissanet is that though we’re a km outside the village there is a speaker on a lamppost near the house. Every so often they make announcements that are preceded by 30 secs of ‘rah tat tat tat tat rah’ type music.
