Toby is inspecting my yarn projects for snuggability issues. So far, they're passing his tests

Toby and Tasman are having a nap party. Tasman is dreaming foofy dreams and Toby is secretly plotting to inch closer to try and snuggle her (spoiler: she won't like that)

Thou still hast a little of thy favorite pumpkin spice yarn left, my lady

Here's one of my Big Yarn Projects. I wanted to make a blanket that would run across the perches that line the faux hedge wall. I haven't finished it yet but it already has the cats' approval

Kiely has volunteered to help me work on the Big Yarn Project today. She intends to snuggle every inch of it she can. She's such a sweetheart

While math has never been my strong suit, I'm pretty sure there's a formula for how cuddly a blanket will come out if a cat lies on it while it's being made

x + y (z) = snuggly?

I imagine there's more letters if more cats get involved

I will hold thy crochet needle while you undo this old project so you can add the yarn to your glorious project, my lady

Tasman is enjoying my previous big yarn blanket. I spent a year working on it, taking long breaks whenever when one of the fur babies decided to nap on it.

the yarn: cotton merino

crochet needle: wooden

cat approval: LOTS

plans for the week...

* continue working on the business-y business side of writing

* get further on one of the yarn projects

* wonder if I'm going to need more yarn

Since the cats have been napping on the big yarn project, I started a blanket for them. If the cats curl up on one project, I can work on the other. Since we have 3 cats, I suspect I might end up with a couple more projects

Kiely's trusting me to work on notes and crocheting today. She's let me know she wants another blanket. She thinks they don't have enough comfy things to lay on. What kind of heathen would argue with her?

Toby's decided he also wants to snuggle the blanket. You know what that means.

Cat math time!

2x + y (z) = how snuggly the blanket will come out

x: the number of cats

y: the big yarn project

z: the number of hours they spend on it

Time to work on the big yarn project! I haven't been able to work on it in a while and...

What I meant was, time to continue working on a cat blanket.
