As a very disabled guy myself (not something I chose), I genuinely don’t have any issue with somebody wanting and getting an amputation due to BIID, and thus becoming disabled. It’s not stolen valour or something. I’d argue BIID is a disability in and of itself tbh

I'll never forgive or forget when people thought it was ok to bully a visibly disabled artist offline claiming they cut their arm off for a fetish when they didn't and on top of that clearly had BIID
this stuff isn't for protecting anyone it's just targeting vulnerable people and gossiping Abt them

So ok BIID is kind of at the extremes of bodily autonomy and yes maybe amputation surgeon was a weird job for him but in fairness you have to assume many surgeons are at least a little aroused by surgery, right? A chance to cut is a chance to cum and all that

There are many bad arguments for why transitioning is “wrong”, but one I personally think is very silly is the “if you wanted to cut off your leg you’d be harming yourself too” one.
Presumably if someone did want an amputation due to BIID, getting it would relieve a lot of unnecessary suffering
