I'm still trying to figure out what image to print and put on top. Maybe an agility spider? I dunno!

of course the REAL pending question is

will it hold together?

i mean this is the best plastic epoxy I've got with pretend rebar going all the way through but it's still _mostly_ epoxy and... well... fingers crossed I guess?

And I made this staple (to snip shorter later), to put through the assembly, and fill all the intentional remaining gaps with as much more epoxy as I could cram into it.

But I'm worried about curved roughed up plastic on stepped plastic on flat(ish) metal for obvious reasons, even if it's the best plastic epoxy I've found so far, right?

So I came up with the idea of more or less rebar to go through all three objects and drilled holes:

So that old-fashioned bike bell I found before, right?

This is the base of the bell with the old all-metal handlebar attachment completely removed and a new one expoxied onto a matched 3D printing bridge which is also expoxied into the base of the bell holder.

And that's where we are now more or less. Since the attachment ring has a rubber liner (not shown in photos) I figure it can stick out a little on the ring side since it'll be padded by the rubber liner.

but well first thing is to clean it all up and put every relevant part into the evaporust

and now we let it sit overnight ^_^

Getting my achievements in early today: fitting a new bike bell (gifted a couple of years ago by Inverness Festival of Walking and Wheeling and at last brought into play now that my old one's croaked its last). May spend the rest of the day admiring its shinyness.
