Today is the last day of 2026 for @ncc-ccn.gc.ca Weekend Bikedays in Ottawa! I almost missed it this (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend. Here’s video taken yesterday afternoon from one of my favorite stretches on the eastern (SGEC) parkway. The leaves will be at their peak colors here very soon.

I have to waste part of this gorgeous Sunday on a trip to the grocery store.
I'd love to make a long ride of it and use KZM to ride as far as Westboro, but #BikeDays ended 90 mins ago, and the MUP will no doubt be jam-packed with people.

You forgot about KZM bikedays ending at Noon on weekends, instead of 4PM like last year. Full-day Sundays like in the old days is better.
They aren't putting the concrete barriers back up on Champlain? They were piled up on Bate Island, so i assumed they were just waiting to be installed.

Any updates on the Westboro Beach development and beach and pathway access? It looks like the construction has advanced quite a bit....hope the beach fully re-opens this summer - the short hours of the bikedays will also not serve-well those families looking to access the beach by bike.
