My Philodendron Billietiae arrived today, but it was crammed into a tiny box with the leaves tucked under the pot, no packing material at all. Poor thing, I'm not sure it'll even recover. 😕

Next up I got the Philodendron Billietiae, she's got the same problem as the ZZ with soil all over her leaves. I'm hoping once she gets settled, she'll look a little less crazy. I'll probably get her some support poles too.

Here's my baby variegated billietiae philodendron. Just moved to a new pot.
They used to be horribly expensive years back, $2k US.

got myself a nice Philodendron billietiae as a treat for surviving the summer. You may applaud now.
.
At present the biggest leaf is as long as my forearm, and they can grow leaves as long as my torso 🥰
.
Added to my collection of "plants that will one day consume me"

I hate, hate, hate plug plants! That mesh stuff stuns the roots and is a pain in the ass to remove. I just transfered my Philodendron Billietiae into pon and am amazed that I didn't rip many roots in the process. #houseplants 🌱

I really should go clean the leaves and possibly repot my philodendron billietiae. That thing has nearly tripled in size since i got it last winter.

Wie heeft de ruimte voor deze Philodendron billietiae? Met liefde grootgebracht vanuit een heel klein begin. Maar nu moet ie echt op kamers. Want dit wordt te gek.
Zelf ophalen in Maastricht. En je kunt met de (bestel)auto stoppen voor de deur.

It's been 3 weeks since I got the Philodendron Billietiae, badly packaged. I've been mollycoddling it since and the company "somerset plants" have completely ignored me.
However, I've just repotted it in clear pot with a mix of cactus/succulent and orchid compost and ordered a new planter for it 🙂
