Doctors Grover Krantz, Jeff Meldrum, John Bindernagel, John Napier, and Warren L. Cook, were all convinced there is enough evidence to support the argument that Bigfoot creatures do exist.

I believe Dr. Bindernagel was shocked when his first book providing evidence was ignored.
The documentary movie and the accompanying book THE MYSTERIOUS MONSTERS laid out a compelling case, presenting various types of evidence, for the existence of Bigfoot, and that was back in 1975.
The idea there is NO evidence for the existence of Bigfoot is false.
1st and foremost, we have a multitude of casts and photos of footprints, some from significant trackways. Some prints exhibit unique dermal ridges and have been analyzed and deemed real by a fingerprint expert.

Well that I so understand. Until I’d seen what well respected men of science had to say, men Like Dr.‘s Meldrum and Bindernagel to name a few had to say about it well it was just a small collection of anecdotal 2nd hand stories to believe one way or another.

I suggest those who claim folks are merely seeing bears should look into the late Dr. John Bindernagel's argument as to why that's not necessarily the case.
Bindernagel was an actual wildlife biologist who argued that the details often reported in BF sightings do not match up with those of bears.
Jeff VanderMeer doesn't believe in Bigfoot :( but he does believe in bears :)

Reality is just as sweet as myth, @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social writes. Sorry to the Bigfoot truthers; the real world is just as cool. A takedown of mythology, and an argument for reality, here.

. . . at Nobody Nursery would be well-suited to the wet, open areas where the caterpillars feed except four: Carex leptopoda and C. laeviculmis tend to be in shady areas, C. macrocephala is a dune-dweller, and C. tahoensis inhabits rocky, well-drained soil.

May the sedge witch watch over you.

One thing that irks me about the stereotypically skeptical comments from scientists re Bigfoot is the implication that the late Drs Grover Krantz, John Bindernagel, and Jeff Meldrum didn't know what they were talking about. Same for primate fingerprint expert Jimmy Chilcutt.

. . . and the foothills of the mountains. Out east, the species is fairly restricted to calcareous (limestone) wetlands, but in the PNW it doesn't seem to care. I suspect that it can take drier conditions and I’m experimenting with that, and I can currently report that . . .

. . . Unconstrained it spreads by rhizomes to form loose populations. The scratchy leaves are my cats’ favorite to munch on.

Here in the PNW, this species is rare south of Canada but has been observed as far as northern California, and isolated populations can be still found in coastal bogs . . .

Now through October 6th, all ten of the sedges in stock here at Nobody Nursery are automatically 30% off. This post is part of a spotlight series to introduce these delightful species, most of which are rarely commercially available elsewhere.

Carex livida (pale sedge)

I just can’t shut up . . .

. . . while others (like C. obnupta, aka slough sedge) are rhizomatous and can form rambling, sprawling colonies. The multitudinous species can be notoriously challenging to distinguish from one another, and I’ve dedicated considerable time and effort to getting to know the family.
