...cating which elements and molecules are present in the atmosphere.

Biosignatures are gases like oxygen, methane, or even combinations like oxygen and methane, that are often produced by life as we know it. Detecting these in an exoplanet's atmosphere, particularly in disequilibrium where they...

Distinguishing N$_2$-Dominated from O$_2$-Dominated Atmospheres on Terrestrial Exoplanets with Reflected-Light Spectroscopy
Reflected-light spectra of Earth-sized exoplanets promise to probe habitability and biosignatures, but interpreting atmospheric oxygen can be challenging because $O_2$ can arise from both biological a...

Tricorder range is documented in the tens to hundreds of meters -- as little as 100 meters under EM interference, and four meters for a modified unit -- not 50 meters of rock, and biosignatures are species-specific, so a tricorder can in fact distinguish a Human from a Vulcan.

Day 23: I looove Subnautica 2 and the leviathan theme is really good not only in the moment as it really ramps up the horror and fits the Collector but I find it to be a pretty good listen as well :]
This was originally gonna be day 21’s music but it fit today’s prompt a lot better I think :3

21. From a game that came out this year
- Titat-Class Biosignatures, Subnautica 2

So turns out I've barely played any games that released this year, which isn't all that surprising to me. Buuut, I've been enjoying Subnautica 2, and the collector leviathan theme is CREEEPY.
