Now there's a great bipolarity story waiting to be written
September 28, 2026 at 2:29 AM
Bipolarity strikes again. I'm feeling extremely anxious right now but I have some Dark Souls videos on my Watch Later playlist to watch in bed before sleep since DS games are my comfort games by far.

I don't think I'll ever "get used" to this disease but at least now I have tools to deal with it.

Bipolarity isn't a fun ride, either, though some creatives treat it as a mixed blessing for those highly creative / motivated manic periods. (They're probably mostly wrong, but everyone is different. Taylor Tomlinson still very funny after getting treatment)

I am not a creative so it just sucks.

honestly in love with my art one day then scared of it the next, my bipolarity is real
September 21, 2026 at 3:39 PM
At the time, I failed to see it as anxiety while mine ran rampant unchecked and unmedicated. Especially as bipolarity set in, in my early thirties.

Me: And here I thought I was behind both our kids' anxiety potential.

Her (Laughing): You aren't nearly as important as you thought you were, dear.

Depression is beating me up today. I woke up like this, haven't done anything other than just exist.

I hate when my brain gives up on me like this. I hate even more how this is going to be the case for the rest of my life too. Bipolarity sucks.

Ugh, I just wanted to play some videogames today.
