Great to see this recently arrived pair of Cackling Geese whilst ring reading Barnies around North Uist today. Would be good to know where they've been wintering and hopefully rings from the flock they were associating with will help. Also bumped into a fine Ring-necked Duck #birds

At least 93 juveniles at Ardivichar, with 40+ at Northbay!
A flock of around 100 in Northbay arrived in torrential rain but was unsure if Ardivichar birds were also involved?

A decent crossing from Uig-Lochmaddy today resulted in c.10 sooties, 30+ stormies, c.10 arctic skua, 1 bonxie, 20+ manxies.
