Gardening for Birds
Are you searching for help transforming your wasteland of a lawn into a bird nirvana, and do you live in the upper Midwest? Then, look no further. Mariette Nowak’s delightful Birdscaping for Wisconsin and the Great Lakes Region: The 50 Best Native Plants to Attract Birds to Your Midwestern Garden is the resource you need! Three introductory chapters give a brief overview of “birdscaping,” site preparation, planting, and how to protect the birds you are attracting to...

Many years ago I read in a beautiful book ‘Birdscaping Your Garden’ that a clean, safe water supply was even more important than food in our hot climate. We flush the baths 5x per day in summer. We get an amazing number of species visiting, it brings me a lot of joy! 💖
