#birdvember day 1: adélie penguin (Pygoscelis adeliae)

since what got me to get a tablet in the first place was pengumi i'm starting with an adélie penguin doodle :^)

#birdvember day 2: Eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus)

they were there in yesterday's nme chapter and i heard them outside my window this morning so they are calling for me literally. it was fun to try out a scratchy pen brush

#birdvember day 4: European robin (Erithacus rubecula)

they've been keeping me company with their beautiful autumn songs these days so i wanted to try painting them in return! limited myself to a single layer for the bird and a single brush in general and had a BLAST... learned a lot too :^)

#birdvember day 3: Cuban trogon (Priotelus temnurus)

watched a cuban movie tonight on call w friends but i have a rule not to minimize movies so i couldn't go for the tablet and had no other time so the cuban national bird on paper it is. the colors are not exactly right but i have no green...
