Sooou handsome in bitless! He opened his mouth ready for a bit and was confused when the band just slipped over his nose instead 😆 We've just been doing groundwork in a headcollar and dressage saddle but today he seemed so happy in bitless and did amazing.

I made some things.
This is my second time ever using a sewing machine to sew things, as opposed to my usual method; hand sewing with pliers (I am usually sewing things that a "regular" sewing machine couldn't handle).

Nileist, however, is extremely happy with the bitless bridle. He can focus on the reins and the noseband. This is not a hackamore. It is a bitless bridle.

A friend recently remarked that the saiga antelope looks like something from a fantasy tale. And yeah, it does.

Interesting fact about Hackleton: He does not like bitless bridles. Three's not enough structure for him. He needs a bit to feel secure. So he now has a leather bit that he can suck and chew. This is him in the bitless bridle, feeling aimless, asking for direction.

(It also seems to be working pretty well for us, so that's a plus too.)

Her name is Thorn and she’s a woolly rhino that was resurrected from the ice. She likes sugar cubes and tender greens.
