I'm maintaining a bitset of "updated actors" in the service so that every 5 seconds or whatever interval I can flush only the updated bitsets into SQLite which is incredibly cheap (the largest bitset is only ~500kb) and keeps the total # of writes to disk down.
Backing this with Scylla is easy now

Now that #bevy has immutable components, I've been chewing on finally shipping indexes in the ECS to look up components by value. But @bushrat.bsky.social has been *cooking* with the idea: creating dynamic components packed in a bitset to take advantage of our existing archetypal lookup. Wild!

Trying some new oxlint optimizations. This PR has gone over several iterations in the last few months and the core idea is simple: don't run rules for files if they don't apply (using an AST node bitset lookup).
The result: linting is around 15% faster in practice.

Vermutlich wäre es da effizienter, bei den einzelnen Trips ein 365er-Bitset anzuhängen, wo für jeden Tag des Jahres explizit angehakelt wird, ob der fährt oder nicht.

I'm trying pair programming with ChatGPT to build a CS-y algorithm that I need in Bevy: SIMD iterating over all zeroes in a variable length bitset in reverse order.
Pretty disappointed, honestly. It's consistently making "what are you thinking?!" errors and forcing me to correct them repeatedly.
