It's the seven o' clock morning hour and I just finished having a life talk with my 19 yr old son about how important it is to not allow "friends" to put him in unsafe spaces at 5am in the morning because of his heart posture. 😩

I want to talk about parenting on here. This feels like the right kind of vibe. I've only been at it for 11 years but I feel like I'm doing a good job so far 😁. I'd like to share what's worked as well as challenges. I'm also here to learn. It takes a village. #Parenting #BlackParenting

Juneteenth = a reminder that freedom is not just historical, it's ongoing.

Black parents deserve safety, rest, support, and mental wellness.

Let’s celebrate this day and work toward a world where every family gets to raise their kids in freedom and peace. 🖤

Break to Build
🚧Sometimes things have to fall apart so you can put them back together the way they were always meant to be. In this deeply honest and layered episode, Phoenix Ash unpacks what it means to grow while shedding parts of yourself that no longer serve you.  She’s reflecting on everything from the unexpected truths of parenting to how healing really feels when you’re in the middle of it. Expect a real talk breakdown of dating rules, financial friction in relationships, building and breaking emotional walls, and what it really takes to feel safe with someone.  There’s love for the community, side-eyes for internet dating advice, and a powerful reminder that growth is messy, emotional, and absolutely worth it. If you’ve been rethinking your own standards, priorities, or people... this one will speak directly to your spirit.  📚 Support Phoenix Ash’s author work by picking up Soil Sheets, In Her Makeup, and Long Neck Bottles on https://www.amazon.com/stores/Phoenix-Ash/author/B078GVTP2M/. 🛍 Don’t forget to stop by the https://shop.saywharadio.com/ to grab merch from all your favorite SayWHA Radio Network podcasts. 📲 Stay connected: Instagram: https://instagram.com/pwrites Twitter: https://twitter.com/AuthorPhoenixA
