Black vultures r family oriented & their spiritual meaning is very positive. Seeing one could mean one is protected by a higher power & that you have it in you to overcome adversity. They symbolize good luck & rebirth as well as new beginnings.

We crossed paths with a wake of black vultures (Coragyps atratus). Though there were more in the group, these two happened to be the only ones halfway in focus. They were feeding on the remains of some fish—how the fish ended up there remains a mystery.
