There's a lovely ditch running across the length of my favorite haunt (from many, many years ago when it was part of someone's farmland), and, among many other things, it is full of blooming bladderworts (water-dwelling carnivorous plants) and this pleases me 💛

There were also billions of blooming happy bladderworts lining the route—at least 2 different species—which was also delightful

Utricularia (Bladderworts) are one of my favourite genera of carnivorous plants. Most are so easy to grow on a sunny windowsill. My favourite is Utricularia longifolia - needs a cool, dryish winter but will reward you with the most wonderful flowers #carnivorousplants #utricularia

I used to have some Albas in here for height but moved them to their own containers. One's coming up from a seed on the edge here.
