mansiya learns about electricity!
#jart #blakwitsche #comic #traditionalart #greyscale (i promise there is a grey in here) #furry #teenlit #anthro
a greyscale comic drawn in ink. it has four panels. panel 1; Brunhilde, a black-haired old woman wearing a tall pointy hat and a robe, her face entirely encased in shadow, does jazz-hands in front of a rudimentary lightbulb setup. the bulb is lit up and radiates light, though none reaches Brunhilde's face. Brunhilde's speech bubble says "And just like that, the bulb is LIT UP!" Mansiya, a young dog-girl with black hair styled in a dramatic bang, wearing a bowtie, stands beside Brunhilde looking existentially terrified. panel 2; a closeup on Mansiya's face. Mansiya is sweating and looks even more nervous. Her speech bubble says "If magic is so capable as to create light from nothing, how could I ever hope to EXPUNGE it from our world?!" A smaller speech bubble, implied to be from Brunhilde, simply reads "what." panel 3; an even closer shot of Mansiya's face, the lines now wobbly and her pupil merely a dot on the page. she is sweating bullets, and her speech bubble says "I'm so woefully unprepared for the task ahead, I will never be able to cleanse the world." But it's cut off by Brunhilde's, who exclaims "MANSIYA." panel 4; closeup on Brunhilde's face, who looks worried and perhaps a bit weirded out. She says "It's literally not even magic, dear." Mansiya replies with "Ohhh, I'm gonna disappoint everyone..." to which Brunhilde replies "It's SO okay, Mansiya..." the comic is dated October 5th, 2026. in the top left corner is a link to the artist's website, jorse.nekoweb.org, and in the top right is the title of the strip, "Edison Complex."

drawings on drawings on drawings
#jart #traditionalart #sketchbook #blakwitsche #anthro #furry #ocs
a full shot of a sketch page. there are approximately ten or twelve drawings on this single page, most of which being of ButchJorse's character, Mansiya Erlnova. the drawings are all done in brush pen, in the colors brown, orange, red, and yellow. a closeup shot of the previous sketch page. the camera is focused on two drawings of ButchJorse's characters, Mansiya Erlnova and Mathilda Blakwitsche. Mansiya is drawn in red and yellow. she's smiling with a sort of contentedness that is unusual for her. Mathilda is drawn in brown, a cat-person with black hair, and she has a spiteful expression, looking off to the side. another closeup shot of the same sketch page. the camera is focused on two drawings of Mansiya. one is of her drawn in red, smiling cheekily with her tongue sticking out. the other is drawn in brown, of her crying a single tear and looking haggard. there's a speech bubble beside her, reading "please, god, let me go through this day ALIVE!"

mansiya eating a big plate of curry over rice :)
#jart #mspaint #blakwitsche #oc #witches #curry
a mostly black-and-white MS paint doodle of ButchJorse's character Mansiya Erlnova, a young dog-girl with dramatic black emo bangs and a big puppy nose, looking extremely excited. her mouth is open and there is a small cartoonish bead of drool hanging from her mouth. she is holding a spoon in her left hand, as if she is about to plunge it directly into the big plate of curry in front of her. the curry is the only colored thing in the drawing, it is a brownish-orange with some chunks of potato, carrot, and chicken interspersed through out, served on top of a pile of rice. the curry is steaming and presumably smells divine.

dualities
#jart #blakwitsche #mspaint #ocs #originalcharacters #furryocs #teenlit #cartoon
a black and white messy MS paint doodle of Mathilda Blakwitsche, a cat-person, and Mansiya Erlnova, a dog-person. Both have black hair, with Mathilda's styled in a middle part and Mansiya's styled in a dramatic emo bang. Mathilda is yelling at Mansiya, and we can see an x-ray view inside her head, where it's shown that she has an average-sized brain. Meanwhile, Mansiya is smiling contentedly with her eyes close, unaffected by Mathilda's yelling. Inside her head is a significantly smaller brain unburdened by wrinkles. Another black-and-white MS Paint doodle, this time of Michalina Chomski, a bunny-girl with black hair and big eyes, yelling at Miroslava Hlava, a mouse-girl with black pigtails and a sly grin. Michalina looks positively livid, her hands positioned in front of her and a vein popping out in her neck. We can see that inside of her head is an average brain. Meanwhile, Miroslava seems to have no brain at all, replaced instead with a miniaturized version of herself smiling slyly.

each one has an individual blurb! don't take these as set-in-stone, the story is still in quite early development and everything is subject to change at pretty much any time :)
