Amazing!
I recently saw two turtles, a big one and a little one, sitting together on a log. Wanted to snap a photo but they popped in the water as suddenly as they caught my eye.
It must be turtle season.

Blanding's turtles, identified by the stripe of sunshine on their chin, are currently a species of special concern here in Michigan, and are threatened or endangered in nearby states. So it is always a treat to see them. These turtles can live to 90 years!
