Realizing Skeledirge’s lack of awareness, a purple butterfly, if it had hands, would be seen facepalming.
And as it mentally facepalms, the Illumise gets decimated again, as another shield pops, raising its stats to the max.
Illumise then uses Bug Buzz again, at max stats. Ouch (for Blastiose).

I try to have a Charmander on my team if I can since I had a Charizard saved me in the indigo league back in Fire Red by beating a Blastiose with only three fire moves and Fly. That Charizard became special to me that I try to honor it by making sure I have one by my side every region it can appear

Here's the team I used to climb the Season 4 ladder. I completely skipped S3. I tried to make my Mega Frosslass and Mega Blastiose Trick Room trams work, I really did. But in the end I did not destroy the Sith I joined them

Ash's Pikachu and Ash's Greninja were nice gimmicks for the games, but hear me out: Ash's Squirtle
It's functionally the same but has it's sick squirtle squad shades (bonus points if it evolves and keeps them as a blastiose cause that would be amazing)

I lost in the first round against a grown up, who kept adding Water Energy to his Blastiose, despite card saying Hydro pump works with 2 Energy cards max. I was very shy kid, so I didn't call judges.
I still have really cool playmat.
