Maybe Blaze will get lucky and her heart will explode or she’ll succumb to Oripathy and get out of this 🪶🐈⬛⚡️

My friend and I, long time BlazeThroat fans have been having a lot of laughs at Blaze’s expense given that the age gap is actually like nearly or double of what we thought it would be.
(Also yes I have a headcanon of Gavial and Blaze being friends/ always poking at each other)

BLAZETHROAT RIGHTS!
I guess I’ll just make a little thread with any commentary I have on these lines. Everyone feel free to mute me.

I guess the answer to this is that some pairings that I love really stuck with me for all these years and won't leave. Still thinking about blemplat candlenearl horndragora and blazethroat fairly regularly
Honestly idk why I still put arknights stuff in my bio lol I haven't read a proper event this year cause all the doctorslop stuff is making me nauseous

I just multiship those. It’s a bummer that BlazeThroat got forgotten. If I wasn’t into Bleizi I’d be hanging onto them for dear life.
I don’t always think canon means better because we’ve seen some shit. But when you like a ship and it works well in canon and makes sense, it’s nice!

Incredible BlazeThroat piece and it’s just a scene but every word and line is so authentic that it leaves me flailing trying to kind of learn that mastery.
I guess with writers and artists I enjoy, it’s all about trying to reach that level or skill.
I should remind myself to just keep creating

Hmmm decisions decisions. Blazethroat seems would work out in the long term consider their goals, but Leizi is also tempting with how she can put Blaze in her place

i can't necessarily blame them lol. shipping sunk cost fallacy; heck, even i have some i still bat for (blazethroat, skaspec, zimastina, nearlplat...)
even then, i don't expect alt ships to take off, but a handful of fanworks at least... i guess only some are lucky, like vivi/nearl or spec/rene

it's fine to still be attached to og pairs! hell, i haven't let go of blazethroat for example, even if i like bleizi too. or siege/indra, or lin/swire... the future feels so uncertain for most, bc you never know if they'll introduce a new character for the express purpose of breaking ppl up lol

Oddity I noticed is that I have a weird amount of ships which include 1 trans person but not both.
SariSil, RosMiya, Wines, BlazeThroat, BlackBerry...
Also if I had Ebenholz I'd probably either have switched out the Pinus girls or ChenSwire but alas, trans goat eludes me

Yeah, it's just surreal as you put it. I tend to stick to the old ships but like seeing how much people like Bleizi while Blazethroat gets nothing can be difficult but hey ProvRed is dead than dead and I still ship it so lol I would like to join you some day, enjoy both but in the meantime it's-
