Page 95, "The bleeding wound of history" makes it clear that a lot of things that have happened due to colonization have not yet been healed and are still "bleding" can these things truly be undone? will it ever be healed?

Notwitstondyng the bleding continued a while til it migt be sene with avisement, and this was so plenteous to my sigt that methowte if it had be so in kind and in substance for that tyme, it should have made the bed al on blode and a passid over aboute.

I don't think anyone really clocked it at the time, and genre bleding/bending wasn't as prevelant / visible as it is now, but looking back in hindsight I 100% think you're right.

Harper's design seems very American, and very mid-90s. I feel like if I had a brain injury where I couldn't decipher text and I saw these, I'd reckon the author was Carl Hiaasen or Elmore Leonard or something: still crime stories and funny, but a bit more gonzo and a bit less British.
Harper Paperback trade dress for _Have His Carcase_, featuring thin, abstract letters in bold colors, with Dorothy Sayers's name in red with a blue minimalist drop shadow. Central on the cover is a somewhat impressionistic picture of a woman in a hat on the seashore near a bleding corpse. Harper Paperback trade dress for _Murder Must Advertise_, featuring thin, abstract letters in bold colors, with Dorothy Sayers's name in blue with a grey minimalist drop shadow. Central on the cover is a somewhat impressionistic picture of a bleding corpse at the foot of a wriught-iron spiral staircase.

Yes the IUD poked a whole in my uterus, causing endometriosis to grow all over my abdomen. When I got pregnant I couldn't grow. I ruptured and was bleding out. I lived in GA at the time. If it happened now they would have let me keep bleeding internally and I'd be dead right now.

Turns out Twix is pretty predictable in her actions and this “cut scene” was at the ready.

The Bleding Tree We see two shadow elves, a male and a female, they are looking up at us, as though we are seeing them from a giant's point of view, looking down. "They're struggling. They shouldn't be struggling. The caterpillar does not struggle, it simply becomes. Mistress what is happening?" The regal seeming female, shakes her head. "We were so close. Ah well, still much to learn it seems. I will speak to my sisters, perhaps they are..." She seems distracted. Cut to a similar view of the heroes. Almost from the tree's point of view. We see the heroes looking at the Bleeding Tree "A wode-warden. This explains much. The ritual takes too long, we gave the sunlanders too much time. This is vital knowledge. Come. You and I will return to the citadel." "What of the sunworlders? Should we not...?" "No, what we have learned is too important. Besides, the bleeding trees can defend themselves."

.... I forgot about my yearly Kasumi traditional sketch!! AHHH! I will work on that this weekend. I almost forgot last year.

Here are a few I've done for the past few years.

1st: 2019 | 2nd: 2022 | 3rd and 4th: 2024

#kasumi #kasufeed #doafeed #deadoralive
2019 copic sketch of Kasumi with her hand on her hip and the other by her face.... It's my first Kasumi fanart I posted online. Another Kasumi sketch from 2022. I tried to mimic to pose from DOA22 here Kasumi is holding her blade. The blue ink is bleding into her hands and there is no blending whatsoever of my markers. It's just a mess. She is wearing one of her concept outfits. You can see her panties. I did not blend the shading either. Wow. Copic sketch of Kasumi from DOA drawn in 2024. I can blend a bit better at least. She is standing straight with her fists clenched and looking to our right. There is a heart and blady done pink splotch in the background to make it stand out. Fanart of Kasumi from DOA putting her hair up in a pony tail. The colors are blended better but still a mess. She is wearing her classic white outfit with red trim. My logo is right in front of her covering a mistake of a big ass splotch of ink but that's ok you'll never know unless you read this mwahahaha.
