Das #BlockingStatute von 1996 erlaubt europäischen Firmen, Sanktionen zu ignorieren. Aber die aktuellen US-Sanktionen gg den IStGH sind nicht davon umfasst.

Die Niederlande, Spanien, Slowenien, Österreich und andere Mitgliedsstaaten sowie das EU-Parlament fordern von Von der Leyen, das Blocking Statute zu aktivieren (zumindest falls die USA Sanktionen gegen die Institution #istgh statt gegen einzelne Richter verhängt).
