When #BlueZeus arrived at Skydog, I told him that his capture and rescue would change things for other wild horses and I really believe it has! If you have not seen the documentary, you can stream it on Prime. #bluezeus #wildhorses #wintersrock

“There was a picture of Blue Zeus and a video of him and his family being chased by a helicopter into a trap. I thought there must be a way to find him and bring him and his mares and offspring to the sanctuary.” www.laweekly.com/the-relentle...

Getting the story of #BlueZeus out into the world is one of our biggest accomplishments. At the heart of it is the love story between these horses, which has done more to show in a real way the sacred bonds mustangs form and what a crime it is for the BLM to tear them apart.
Blue Zeus walks thru the fading yellow #rabbitbrush with his family and the #mares they have welcomed into their #herd. Nearby, you can hear #burros, who share 1200 acres with them. As always, #BlueZeus stays close to his Nike, the great love of his life. #wildhorses

Here is the official #BlueZeus trailer. The dulcet tones of narrator #GerardButler give me goosebumps every time I watch the movie. His powerful words, written by #ScottWilson, elevate the film to a whole nother level, giving a voice to Blue Zeus and all #wildhorses. @netflix.com

A beautiful sight and what Clare Staples fights for: #wildhorses, whose families and freedom are stolen by an inhumane and broken US gov’t bureaucracy. Thanks to her, #bluezeus and his family are free and protected at #skydogsanctuary in #Oregon for the rest of their lives.

We always see #BlueZeus guarding his family, but here he sleeps with Nike, his great love, watching over the herd. With her on watch, he knows he can rest. Their love is one for the ages, a testament to the fact that #wildhorses feel emotions and form deep family bonds. #love

Grace Kuhn - formerly with #AWHC and now with #WesternWatershedsProject is a powerful voice in the fight for #wildhorses. Throughout the film, she ties the story of the roundup of #BlueZeus in #WY back to public lands mismanagement by the Bureau of Land Management and commercial ranchers.
