In Berkeley, the bike blvds have stop signs every block aimed at slowing drivers. Its a bit ridiculous to full stop every block on a bike. You roll slowly and look out. But at main arterials, yeah you want to full stop no matter what.

I would do this for any map service, especially in regards to bike blvds. The number of times Google has told me to use 38th (no bike lanes) instead of 40th (bike blvd with many spots designed for bikes to cross the street but not cars) is innumerable

OOF! This was not a good day for anyone when this PE streetcar collided with an Army truck at Lincoln and Venice Blvds in 1942. And especially bad day for the 26 soldiers and civilians injured and the motorists caught in the backlog of traffic that would have quickly congealed.
