Our anchor chain upgrade was about much more than adding length. Learn why we chose 400 feet of continuous galvanized chain and how this project changed the way we anchor our Navigator 5800.

Or, may I add, a day when you get a classic Hammarlund HQ-180 in pristine condition cuz one owner, and he sells it to you below asking price, as you had to tell your wife about acquiring yet another boatanchor you really prolly didn't need...

NOT the Snapmaker 3-in-1 3d printer, CNC, laser; which has abysmal support, a vanishingly small user base, and has never once managed a level bed. Unless you wanna play with the boatanchor one in my basement.

Anne Of Green Gables, except the VCR was a gigantic top-loading boatanchor with piano key type controls. Probably weighed 40 or 50 pounds, thus the need for the cart.

(I'm old enough that a lot of our educational films were shown on a 16mm projector right through till the end of elementary school.)

If that's the case, they're what I call "boatanchor type" people, and if you find yourself somehow connected to one of those, cut all contact immediately without explanation or hesitation.
It might be hard to do so. But for the sake of your own mental health, that's the best thing to do.

omg this prosopographical footnote just keeps getting longer. Why didn't History of Parliament do this work? Why haven't any of the scholars who've written about these people since? Idk! So it's all in this boatanchor footnote!

Nope, but eventually I hope to get my latest boatanchor acquisition, a fairly pristine Hammarlund HQ-180 tuned up and working again. (General coverage, 18 tubes, last boatanchor to come out of Hammarlund in that glorious era).

If either a)he got help in Chicago or b) found himself on a team where he got help, I think he’d be in the running for the Art Ross every year. Look at the numbers he put up with Boatanchor Burakovsky on his wing.

I heard that Margherita pepperoni sticks should be sliced thin, so i set my WWII boatanchor deli slicer to 'business card' for this experiment.
