Bodyscale Prime Climb at #100factorial yesterday. We arranged the cards in an Ulam spiral first to see what that looked like with the coloured cards.
A rectangle of laminated A4 cards laid on the floor. Each card has a circle with a number in it and the circle is divided into some number of coloured sections. The nearest corner has 80 with four yellow sections and one blue section, then 81 with four green sections, then 82 in the corner with one yellow and one red section, then 83 on the next edge with one red section, then 84 with one blue, one purple and two yellow sections. To the side of 82 not part of the main rectangle is a black card labelled Start and 0. Six people stand on six of the cards, though you can only see their legs. The same set of Prime Climb cards from a distance and from above. Four people stand on the cards and one is walking across them. Another stands to the side watching. One more person stands on the other side holding a board with spinners. Some people are wearing coloured fabric sashes.

me literally making this the other night about this exact problem

i wish ppl would at least like. ALSO design a C+ scaling to match the body so those of us who may like their bodies don't then get fucking stuck without mods for the body bc no one wants to make a conversion for the new body.
don't make me tap the sign meme sign reads: You don't need to make a custom topology edit to publish a custom body Please just make a C+ scaling so people don't have to make model edits to fit clothes to your body you are literally creating more work for people who want to use your bodyscale

As much as I adore the bodyscale Herzberger Quader, I can’t take it very far, so I’ve made a few hand-scale sets. #MathSky drive.google.com/file/d/1AFIQ...
A collection of blocks made of small wooden cubes joined at the faces: all the ones possible with two, three or four cubes. Also a pile of eight A6 cards with text and pictures on them. They all say “These eleven blocks are called the Herzberger Quader”, with the last two words in huge capital letters. Underneath that it says what number challenge it is and a name for the challenge. For example, “Challenge 1: The Box”. Below that is a picture of the blocks and an example of the shapes you are challenged to make by fitting them together. The cards are arranged so you can see all the names of the challenges and they are as follows: 1: The Box 2: The Tower 3: The Twins 4: The Cube 5: The Well 6: The Secret 7: The Bridge 8: The Reach

It is very unlikely I will be going to the 2026 Aus Discworld Con, but if I *did* my dream would be to create and play a bodyscale version of the game where the board is spread out on the floor and the players walk the board as their own playing pieces.

Bodyscale Prime Climb at One Hundred Factorial today @mathforlove.bsky.social . We played three games: one with 101 as the target, one with 53 as the target, and one with 37 as the target. Strategies in each were so different!
A photo of six people playing Bodyscale Prime Climb, with the photo cropped so you can’t see anyone’s faces. Each person has a coloured sash somewhere on themselves, making three teams: purple, yellow and green. They are standing on specific A4 cards in an array laid out on the floor. The cards have numbers on them in circles, each number’s circle coloured in some combination of red, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
