Charlotte Wainwright, based in London, shows us how to blend traditional and contemporary techniques to create and restore a book.

She was introduced to #bookbindingart at Central Saint Martins. When someone wishes to restore a cherished old book, this craft takes on an ever deeper meaning.

I learned how to make blizzard books, following the instructions in Hedi Kyle's book "The Art of the Fold", which is awesome. These make a booklet of pockets that you can use to slip things into. #bookbindingart #bookfolding
