In boxes of old memories/photos/diaries I found this gem. An invite to an Arizona (Phoenix area) "boondocker" in 1973, where people found secret places in the desert ("boonies") to hold a drinking party. I have no memory of going to this.

We don't need no stinkin' toaster - you can get a convenient toaster that folds flat and uses the propane stove your RV already has. It works well and uses no electricity.

We are currently under a wind advisory which is a little intimidating for this first time boondocker 😂 Glad we weren’t planning to go anywhere today anyway.

Yeah entire FB are groups devoted to "boondocking" plus Boondocker influencers. 👀 I don't care, I just tent camp or car camp. Can't afford an RV so
RV camping is out. I do not "Glamp" either. Have been to a few campgrounds that had bldg w/shower stalls and indoor potties for
campers use. Luxury!

you could just bootleg this. i've got the yellow ones. will have a bash at DIY beading or use something pre-existing. my youngest put lightning mcqueen stickers all over my real mccoy 'boondocker' boots. i've left them on as i find it charming.

Ha! I might not have gone to it but also in my diary I said that my boyfriend lost his drivers license coming back from a boondocker so it could have been this one. :-)

Today we welcome our 1st Boondocker staying here this season. They are from the Netherlands and are slowly making their way to British Columbia. Then they will go down to Texas and take a ferry to Columbia. They have no children and have been to almost every country in the world. WOW!
