BOORMAN Y EL DIABLO (David Kittredge, 2025). Magnífico documental que muestra los entresijos y problemas del rodaje de EL EXORCISTA II, que fue una decepción a pesar de las buenas ideas iniciales y del incansable trabajo de Boorman. La línea entre el éxito y el fracaso es muy fina. Muy bueno. ⬇️

Calling Stephen Miller Temu Goebbels would seem to imply that the original Goebbels was an impressive figure when he really wasn't.

I feel basically the same. I really love Boorman, and yet Zardoz is very much pure unfiltered Boorman and doesn't work at all. It is such a spectacular mis-fire.

I like Villeneuve's Dune, but you do think about Lynchs version, flawed but it had the mad vision. Or imagine if Boorman 1975 did The Odyssey.
