They also changed the boot1 (The second stage bootloader after boot0 which is in ROM (Inside the GPU SOC, like the Xbox 360 which had it hidden in the CPU) to stop boot2 (Stage 3) being swapped in 2008 so you couldn't install Bootmii and get power on hardware control of the console.

We also added a JTAG connection and the hardware UART debug pins in case we have to do some more-than-printf debugging. All the edges are so packed full of stuff that we had to stick the boot0 button and D13 / ON LEDs in the middle!

Just realized that even though the pin pitches of the QFN28 packages for the CH32V203G6U6 and the STM32F042G6U6 are different, the pinouts are almost identical (PA11-PA12 are the USB pins on the STM).

im trying to find a nice bootloader online i can just write to my mbr and have it show a menu of my Four Choices but i may as well just install freebsd boot0

Yeah, the breakout is because oled switches have no accessible test pads for one of the pins.
I just want boot0/boot1 backed up for safety really, although I might yolo it.

起動直後にstop入るプログラム書き込んだあと、swd効かなくなったチップはリセット信号うまく使ったら、再度swdできるようになるのかもしれない
この記事はstm32を対象にしているけど、swd自体はarmのっぽいから、上に書いたuCでもいけるかも
そう考えると(tssop20にはあるboot0が用意されていない)sop8型番にnRSTピンが用意されているのも、なるほどなと思う

Had a very hard time for dealing with STM32C011. It start refusing to dive into boot mode after writing something because of factory reset value of OPTION_BYTES and set to ignore BOOT0 if there's something in flash, so I made SWD debugger, stopped my program to avoid disabling SWD ports then erased.

Endlich! Ich kann wieder via SWD flashen. Nach dem ersten Flashen hat es nicht mehr funktioniert.
Nun habe ich herausgefunden, dass ich durchaus flashen kann, wenn ich die Ausführung meiner SW verhindere, indem ich BOOT0 auf high ziehe.
Meine SW scheint also auf irgendeine Weise einen der SWD […]

And I have the ability to reboot to DFU from software! This is nice, because there is no "BOOT0" button on the board, I have to jumper two pins together manually :/
