I want to re-do the bootcovers/leg-warmers when I have more time and actually get a wig next time. I *did* have contacts; however, they apparently had dried to a crisp inside their case 😭

I also think if I've got a #cosplay gimmick it's that I like making shoes from scratch! It was mostly born out of hating to make bootcovers and wearing cheap uncomfy altered shoes. Someday I'll do a panel on it--it's more feasible then you'd think!

It took quite the energy to put it on, then the color tint captured by my camera is totally off, ehh...But here you go, Lighter is almost done! Just got to finish the bootcovers and my boxing glove. #zenlesszonezero #zzz #zzzlighter

Bootcovers 2.0 are almost done! I glued the covers to the soles with e6000 fabri-fuse and am letting that cure overnight. Tomorrow I'll hand sew the top facing and zipper to the inner foam, remove the basting stitches from the interlining, and repaint the soles with leather paint.

No cape pics bc I forgot but the ears are painted! Just gotta add the clips to attach them to the wig and Mavis is done :) Now back to those dang Lettuce bootcovers,,,,
