Gen AI is a deeply dystopian "chew up the artist to barf out their art on command" effort by rich tech dickheads to ensure that we get paid less to tell stories and make art, which means they get to keep more of their money. That's literally it. It's just a shitty con. A trick. An obvious one, too.
