Last night @BoweryPalace for the 2nd sold-out night in tribute to the late revered @BlondieOfficial 🥁 legend @Clem.Burke, another highlight was seeing former Portland, OR-based singer-songwriter @MikeJSkill 🎤 🎸 & mod drummer Brad Elvis, both formerly of Detroit-originated '70s new wave power poppers The Romantics (for whom Burke was drummer for over a decade, and who set up Elvis as his replacement when Blondie reunited) perform a rave-up version of that band's 1979 radio staple "What I Like About You" (which Skill co-wrote, including the enduringly catchy riff) with @JesseMalinsSilverManhattan band members @Bandit0ntheRun 🎸 🎤, @JamesCruzBass bass/🎤, and @DamonIsaacSmith 🎹.#MikeSkill #TheRomantics #WhatILikeAboutYou #ClemBurke #PowerPop
