Hes by far my favourite antagonist of the BCS/BrBa universe, and one of my favourite characters period. The way they manage to make you both hate him and feel bad for him is so good.
I always dispute that hes right about Jimmy tho, he is and isnt at the same time, people are never so one-dimensional

Fairly unrelated and I know you probably never watched Breaking Bad but I just gotta tell you it changed the way I view DeLancie forever. Like I never thought he was BAD but he's just so overstated and hammy as Q (as it should be!) But in BrBa he's the father of a heroin addict and I'm always so

I think if someone is more interested in the deeper interpersonal relationships of characters than bombastic tense action scenes (i like both but more so the former) BCS is the better series than BrBa but i love both too and the difference of pace i think it's the perfect spinoff series

my roomie is making me watch brba finally and wow they could not be more obvious on the themes in the first episode its almost comedic in how its playing with themes of masculinity is so obvious

That's not being a fan, tho, that's parasociality & projection. That definition of fan is also CRAZY broad, I disagree with it mostly. A fan is someone who is *invested* in their enjoyment of a work. I like Breaking Bad a lot, but I'm not a BrBa fan. I AM a Ghost in the Shell fan, tho.
