Author: AndreasM The Amiga40 program schedule was officially released today on amigaevent.de! Saturday kicks off with high-profile presentations and interviews from our guests of honor – including Dale Luck, Jeff Bruette, and Jürgen Goeldner. In the afternoon, we'll be devoting ourselves entirely to the classic game "The Settlers II," which – only 29 years late – will finally be released in an Amiga version at Amiga40! We were able to secure several members of the original development team, including project manager Thomas Häuser. They will not only provide exciting insights but also sign purchased copies of the game on site. Sunday traditionally belongs to the exhibitors: For example, the PiStorm team, individual computers, the MorphOS team, and the Mirari team will report on current developments and, together with visitors, take a look into the future. A special highlight on both days will also be Christian Spanik's appearance with a Digisaurier live episode. It will take you on a journey back in time to the era when the Amiga was in stores and shaking up the computer world. This year, the opening event for Amiga40 will be held by Bill "AmigaBill" Winters, who is well known to many of you through his entertaining and informative YouTube channel. All stage presentations will take place in the foyer, where approximately 150 seats are available for relaxation and listening. The winners of the Community Award will also be announced there on Saturday at around 5:45 p.m. We are delighted to be able to offer you such a comprehensive and varied program for our 40th anniversary – and wish all visitors two unforgettable days full of nostalgia, innovations, and Amiga spirit! https://amigaevent.de
