Second hand embroidery project turned out pretty well.
Will be a surprise gift to a coworker who likes Siamese cats. Does she want a 12”x16” embroidered cat on her wall, who knows, but I needed to practice.

Colorful and pretty chaotic. It's all stuff I've gotten for free over the years as hand-me-downs or crafts from aunts (various). I am currently working on a Bucilla stocking kit for the baby's first Christmas. I made my husband's last year. My aunt made mine when I was a baby :)

i thought i had learned my lesson the first time, looked up charts converting Bucilla yarn colors to DMC so i could note down the hex codes to match the instructions OF MY NEXT KIT AND HALF OF MY COLORS ARENT EVEN AVAILABLE IN THE CHART TO CHECK THEM OR ONLINE AS FAR AS I CAN SEE

The Bucilla stocking is officially underway. Sewing on felt with a finite amount of tiny metallic thread is so nerve wracking. This is my lunch time craft so that it stays a surprise and I can use the good lighting.

I’ve always wanted my daughter to have a Bucilla stocking. My mother made us some when we were little. I still love using mine. I know I’m capable of doing this, but oh my lord this is intimidating. #bucillastocking
