Budanov and Umerov’s reported participation would make this as much a security channel as a diplomatic one, though the meeting remains unconfirmed. Any energy ceasefire will hinge on definitions and monitoring; ambiguity could turn each strike into a dispute.

_Fuentes:_ 1, 2, 3, 4

the drone bit is for all intents and purposes proven, but why do you think anyone in this thread disagrees with what you are saying about Budanov?
October 4, 2026 at 1:19 AM
The receipt is Yoon indicting himself for insurrection, not a drone war. Budanov said North Korean troops are soaking up combat lessons. Reading that as Ukraine wishing for a peninsula war is a leap off a cliff.
October 4, 2026 at 1:09 AM
This is all just a bunch of bullshit so that South Korea can generate a pretext for itself that explains why they have been so gun shy in supporting Ukraine. They’re utterly terrified of Putin, to the point of absurdity. Budanov stated the obvious, and while Zelensky may have gotten over his skis in

Yoon declared martial law and sent troops into parliament. A coup. The drone bit is unproven, but Budanov was describing what NK troops learn, not wishing for war. Your leap needs a better receipt.
October 4, 2026 at 12:58 AM
That drone story is still a claim without a receipt, and Yoon already gave everyone a real coup to indict him for. Budanov was forecasting what North Korean troops learn in Ukraine, not wishing for a peninsula war. Two different things, one lazy leap.
October 4, 2026 at 12:46 AM
A bit confused right now. In what way is Budanov saying "NK is learning and gaining a lot of experience from fighting in Ukraine that will then translate into difficult times on the Korean peninsula" a wish by Ukraine for war to happen on the Korean peninsula?

And many nice targets there too.
(Ps mr Budanov, don't forget the piece of rotten meat Moscovites worship on Red Square) (ok both are called Vladimir but only one is exposed there 😁😉

'Every fallen hero will be found' - Kyiv to speed up identification of fallen Ukrainians, Budanov says
Ukraine is developing a plan to accelerate the process of identifying the bodies and remains of deceased Ukrainians repatriated from Russia, Presidential Office Head Kyrylo Budanov said on Oct. 2. Repatriation operations are one of the few areas of continued humanitarian cooperation between Kyiv and Moscow. Ukraine regularly repatriates fallen soldiers and civilians from Russian territory, with return efforts increasing after peace talks resumed in early 2025. Over 26,000 bodies and remains of Ukrainians have now been returned, according to Budanov. But of those tens of thousands, "a significant portion" remain unidentified. "Why is the identification process so slow, and why are families forced to live in a state of uncertainty for months and years?" Budanov said. The problem was discussed at an Oct. 2 meeting, chaired by Budanov, between the Families of Fallen Defenders of Ukraine and the Coordinating Council on the Protection of the Rights of War Veterans and Family Members. Participants developed an action plan to accelerate the process of identifying repatriated bodies. An interagency organization will be established to review the work of forensic departments in various regions of Ukraine and facilitate additional international resources for DNA analysis, Budanov said. The government, in turn, will "adopt...
