A figure of Manx folklore, the buggane is a notable shape-shifting creature with burning eyes and glimmering tusks.

One buggane is said to be why St. Trinian's Church has no roof, as it tore it off every time it was put back until the people gave up.
An accidental stowaway, one buggane once whipped up a storm to force the ship ashore.
Cannot cross water, nor stand upon hallowed ground.

The Buggane remains my favourite creature design but for the animation - Knucker. The hat getting knocked off by the upper jaw is perfection. It's sort of funny, but also pretty tragic when you consider that it's because of how much power the creature is exerting over her. Chef's kiss
