Aroma has blackberries on the ashes of a bonfire. Taste has roasty black coffee, with a pronounced lingering bitterness which sets it apart from standard-issue porters. Decent dark stuff from #BuxtonBrewery.

Haybale maltiness on the nose. Taste is old skool with a slick fullness and plenty of tongue-clicking chewy resinoid bitterness. In really good condition too. Excellent work from #BuxtonBrewery (via Tesco).
