'Adam's Apple.' (c1939) Eileen Agar was a significant figure in ensuring the spread of the Surrealist movement from Paris to Britain during the 1930s. She was the only British woman to be represented at the 1936 International Surrealist Exhibition in London.

Took our kids to see Sound of Music in Toronto many years ago. At the 2nd half, the theatre is transformed into an Austrian theatre c1939 complete with “armed” guards & Nazi flags. Our son said he felt scared. I told him he was supposed to feel that. That’s how we stop it from happening again. 😢
