Very same. I was front row center for several of the big Texas Uprising festival shows c1995-2005. Most excellent hazy memories. 😎🍻

Already writing about the late 1990s and early 2000s is a problem because in the transition to the internet, email and all that, a lot didn’t get preserved. When writing the final chapters of my ‘No Platform’ book, it was much harder to locate materials from c1995-2005.
You know that glib thing people used to say about how things online will live forever? It’s one of the dimmest ideas.

Future historians are going to struggle with so many blanks. A digital dark age.
BET Digital has permanently removed all its digital news articles from its website to 'prioritize video content,' I'm told. Years of news articles are now gone forever.

Some writers were able to save their stories; some weren't

York felt like a bit of a wasteland (albeit a step-up from Northallerton) when I moved there in c1995. To see this, and This Shop Is So Gay and other such things makes my heart swell. Good on you, York!

Weren’t his claimed losses in the c1995 bankruptcy fraudulent? I seem to recall that was a big red flag in those tax returns. Trump claimed the total loss in ventures where he had partners, which was illegal. Also he supposedly kept an ongoing interest in some ventures when he was required to sell

Oh yes, this is a good idea. I've been terminally online since c1995. I'd happily say to my local party "Drop me a name and a handle and I'll do a list of yellow and red flags for review before we vote on a potential candidate. For free."

Hold my beer. My first digital camera c1995. I still have it but don't know what pics are on it as I don't have the latest PC technology to access them. Anyone have a PC with Windows 3.1 and a serial port?

Remember Keating's "what are people going on about" meltdown c1995? He might as well have retired there and then.

This is doubly true for Sussan Ley.

Enjoying The Beatles Anthology on Disney. Dad had the tapes box and at that time (c1995) I read an English comic biography of the band, very lifelike images.
