For #TallTreeTuesday. Taken from my deck on Orcas Island, WA., c2000-2002. Sometimes the setting sun would light these trees up like they were on fire. Spectacular to watch. Scan from a color slide. No edits or filters needed or used. Reality was perfection.

I made the 1988 USDA public school cafeteria pizza recipe I saw in a YouTube video my sister put on while I was visiting over the holidays.
Tastes better than what my school had, probably because I used better ingredients/ingredients improved since c2000.

this is true because our computers are faster, tho in 2015 web sites were so bloated as compared to c2000 that it was unusable on ~5yo netbooks designed with the web in mind
If you could roll every app and website back to 2015 era spec people would be flabbergasted at how much more functional it was

In college c2000 a student’s cell phone rang in class and the professor took it and threw it right out the window.
Before class now all the students sit quietly on their phones. Back in my day we were reciting poetry, dancing to Michael Jackson, asking each other on dates, trashing the professor, etc etc

6th June: Very stormy conditions for the time of year saw the sea super busy with shearwaters - nos difficult with movement in all directions but conservatively c2000 Manx & c50 Balearics; variety incl a few terns, 10 Com Scoter, a Storm Petrel & an Arctic Skua. Just 1 Sanderling at Ferrybridge.
