Heads-up for fellow CRPG dungeon crawler fans as one to avoid: this one is made by ban-evading neo-nazis.
So this game called "Dverghold" came across my Steam homepage. Interesting retro vibes, apparently collabing with a dungeon synth artist for the OST.
The art was kinda tickling my AI-dar though, so I scrolled down to look for any disclaimers.

one thing I've noticed in articles is that the heaviest users of AI girlfriend/boyfriend services seem to be middle-aged and older people, and what they want from it is a mirror of their fantasies that never pushes back or demands anything themselves

Given that it came from the Champagne region of France, Clair Obscur is in fact a CRPG
In order for it to be a JRPG it must come from the RPG region of Japan

CRPG: console rpg. you can choose the guys name, but you don't need to.
Slop: there are stats??? but they don't matter??? +1.26% elf damage. there's crafting? you should never do it. there's an award winning story and it sucks
