it seems like the new popular centrist take is that Abdul El-Sayed "underperformed" relative to other Dems, which is apparently proof socialism doesn't work rather than the result of $200M of negative ads being constantly run against him over the last year.

Apologies for the X screenshot but this is astounding—CBS was more than doubled up by its broadcast rivals and had fewer viewers in the 25-54 demographic than the main cable networks.
(Cable is in way fewer homes than you’d think while CBS is everywhere with a TV, so this is ridiculously bad.)
