all the medical stuff as well is so good, the caesarian scene obviously is so horrible, but the maggots & lancing on the King's infections - really gets across how fucked it is to be trapped in a preantibiotic century

And, maybe unusually, I sailed through the Caesarian. I wanted to leave hospital the same day but wasn't allowed as legs still paralysed post epidural. But left next day & cooked for & hosted a dinner party three days later! And needed no post-Caesarian pain relief!

I am absolutely one of those. I am platinum star gay (Caesarian born, didnt even touch Mother) and I obviously hate men (Ace Aro). I think the world would be a better place if we uplifted trans voices but, frankly, I would be pissed off if a great majority of privileged people GOT a better world.

As someone who has been through two (2) Caesarian sections, Miss World Uganda’s gown was beautiful but also I never want to see it next to a helpful medical diagram in any social media feed ever, ever again 😫
