Upzoning, breaking up the megablocks, planning a connector to the rail trail, and staking out space for small parks could help this neighborhood's long term trajectory immensely.

another Philly-specific thing: lumping in nearly all of Callowhill (ex-industrial loft district) into "Chinatown" and not admitting that nearly zero displacement happens here; in fact Callowhill is arguably an example of a more resilient & diverse future "Chinatown"

Trying to identify the location of this diner that was demolished to build the Vine Street Expressway! That's the spire of the St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church (4th and Vine) in the background, so I figure the diner might be at this lot at 6th and Callowhill (and shown in a 1962 land use map!)
